The 2025 EquinePure NPHA Celebration & Pre Show lit up the Sydney International Equestrian Centre in May, confirming its place as the premier event on Australia’s western performance horse calendar. With Aussie judges warming things up early in the week and top US judges stepping in for the main event, it was a true showcase of world-class competition.

Under sunny Narrandera skies, the Riverina Cow Horse Show was three days of grit, grace, and good horses. From youth to open riders, the standard was high across herd, reined, and fence work, judged by the sharp eye of Adam Wrobel.

It was also a weekend of quiet tribute. Michael “Mouse” Glasser rode his last show with the heart and humility of a true cowboy. He went out just the way he lived in the saddle, with a smile.

The Comet Show kicked off strong with three big days of action, starting Friday with the ever-popular Working Cattle Dog Trial. With over 100 entries in most events, the main arena was buzzing. For the uninitiated, it’s six minutes, three head of cattle, and a whole lot of skill from both handler and dog navigating gates, races, and tight turns, all from a distance.
