WTF as in What the Foto?

Calling all locals, visitors, happy snappers and accidental geniuses with a camera roll full of outback magic!

The WTF (What’s The Foto?) Boulia Photography Competition is now open.

Whether you’ve captured breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, quirky moments, or even something that could pass as evidence of the elusive Min Min Lights, we want to see it.

Subjects can include (but certainly aren’t limited to):
🌄 Landscapes
🦘 Wildlife
👻 Local legends and mysteries
🤠 Life in and around Boulia
📷 Anything that makes people say, “WTF… what a photo!”

There will be a prize for the winning image. Exactly what that prize is remains about as elusive as the Min Min Lights themselves. But rest assured, the winner will definitely receive:
🏆 Lifetime bragging rights (or at least until next year’s competition),
📸 Their winning image featured in council documents and promotional materials, complete with photo credit, and
✨ The satisfaction of knowing your masterpiece has become part of Boulia’s story.

So dust off the camera, scroll through your photo gallery, and send us your best shot. You never know what might catch the judges’ eye.
