Over 164metres of .truss, 48 panels of staging, 63 boxes of PA including V, Y, Q series along side B2 subs and M2 and Max monitors, 115 cabinets of LED screen, over 118 lighting fixtures, 50 Lasers, 31m of .au punter barrier and a whole lot of blood sweat and tears getting it bumped in and out! AU Music Productions is a dynamic and forward-thinking event production and AV installation company. We specialize in delivering high-impact audiovisual experiences across a range of sectors, from live events to permanent installations. Our team thrives on pushing creative and technical boundaries while ensuring flawless ex*****on.

The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of our AV projects. This role is a pivotal link between our creative team, technical crew, and clients—ensuring smooth delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AV production for live events, activations, and installations

Coordinate technical requirements, equipment logistics, crew schedules, and project timelines

Collaborate with producers, creatives, and clients to meet project goals and expectations

Manage the sourcing, maintenance, and return of all technical gear

Conduct site visits, oversee load-ins, setups, rehearsals, and live event operations

Manage production budgets, purchase orders, and vendor relationships

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site

Ensure compliance with all WHS standards and conduct risk assessments

About You

3+ years’ experience in AV production management or a related technical field

Solid understanding of audio, lighting, video, and control systems

Strong leadership skills and experience managing crews and complex productions

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Proficiency in software such as Rentman, Dante, Vectorworks, or vMix

Valid manual driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed

Bonus Skills

MR, Forklift, or Rigging certifications

Ability to read or draft CAD drawings and technical schematics
