AU Music Productions is a dynamic and forward-thinking event production and AV installation company. We specialize in delivering high-impact audiovisual experiences across a range of sectors, from live events to permanent installations. Our team thrives on pushing creative and technical boundaries while ensuring flawless ex*****on.

The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of our AV projects. This role is a pivotal link between our creative team, technical crew, and clients—ensuring smooth delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AV production for live events, activations, and installations

Coordinate technical requirements, equipment logistics, crew schedules, and project timelines

Collaborate with producers, creatives, and clients to meet project goals and expectations

Manage the sourcing, maintenance, and return of all technical gear

Conduct site visits, oversee load-ins, setups, rehearsals, and live event operations

Manage production budgets, purchase orders, and vendor relationships

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site

Ensure compliance with all WHS standards and conduct risk assessments

About You

3+ years’ experience in AV production management or a related technical field

Solid understanding of audio, lighting, video, and control systems

Strong leadership skills and experience managing crews and complex productions

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Proficiency in software such as Rentman, Dante, Vectorworks, or vMix

Valid manual driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed

Bonus Skills

MR, Forklift, or Rigging certifications

Ability to read or draft CAD drawings and technical schematics

We supplied with a complete production package for their Hardstyle Carnival featuring a large .truss structure, audio system, LED screens, with .official and full size at control. .au punter barrier systems.

A second stage in the outdoor area featured our 3.5x2m trailer screen, .acoustics.official audio system and lighting with control.

Out touring with Mayhem and . We did a short run of 3 shows at The Princess Theatre, Metro Theatre and Northcote Theatre.

On the run we supplied a riser, Lighting, Video and Audio control package. Our new Mana Profiles were shining bright and controlled by one of our touring MA3 Compact fly rigs, audio featured PSM900 IEM system and a newly acquired Behringer Wing at FOH and M32 at monitors.

Our friends at supplied backline with a mammoth drum kit and we trucked it around the country.

The LX package consisted of our new ACME Lighting Mana Profiles, Oxozone, Eyeflash, Energy Spot Pro and CM300ZR’s. All controlled by GrandMa Full-size

Unilumin URM3 IMAG screens with Blackmagic Design control, switching and recording, URSA and Birddog cameras in use

Audio was d&b audiotechnik J series with V series outfills and Max monitors with S6L at FOH and Dlive S7000 at monitors.

Huge effort from the crew all day to pull it off with a great result!
