Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive is ahead of schedule.

🐮 Great Australian Cattle Drive hits the Maranoa

The droving mob for the Great Australian Cattle Drive arrived in Maranoa on Friday, ahead of schedule.

Council's Rural Lands Services is working with drover Bill Prow to ensure smooooth sailing through our region.

As the cattle are travelling along the Warrego Highway, the best place to see them is in town. We anticipate the mob to be arriving in Mitchell this Friday (25th) afternoon where they will be camped for a couple of days before they start the journey to Roma.

All stories of people who have managed to overcome addictions tend to be inspiring. None are better though then Ozzy Osbourne's, saying how he gave up acid.
"At that time in America, people were very fond of lacing your drinks with acid. I didn't care. I used to swallow handfuls of tabs at a time."
"The end of it came when we got back to England. I took 10 tabs of acid then went for a walk in a field. I ended up standing there talking to this horse for about an hour. In the end the horse turned round and told me to f— off. That was it for me."
