We are now set up to raise funds for a bronze statue of Marley.

We have been in discussions with Department of Transport (who own the land at the outer harbour) and South West Development Commission (who are the leading the Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project). We have been assured that land is being made available in the next phase of the Waterfront redevelopment for a memorial to Marley.

Bronze statues don't come cheap. Our initial estimate for the statue is $50,000, so this is our target.

In the event that we raise more funds than are needed, residual money will be split between Perth Dingo Rescue Ltd and SAFE Bunbury.

Marine Rescue Bunbury is not a charitable organisation, therefore donations are not tax deductible.

We would love it if the Bunbury community, especially those touched by Marley, can support us in funding the statue of Marley. The statue will ensure Marley is never forgotten.

G’Day legends,

Soooo funny story for ya… Michael is on holidays, I’m rolling solo for this week. I was in Victoria for a wedding over the weekend and thanks to a cancelled flight with an airline that shall remain nameless (I recon you could guess) I’ll be doing the show from the Triple M Melbourne studios tomorrow 😂
