Voice of Islam Host (Sheikh Soner Coruhlu) will take us on a journey aimed at revitalising the metaphysical heart. With International Guest stars and master reciters from Turkiye (Sheikh Ahmet Karali, the head imam of one of the most sacred mosques in Turkiye) and South Africa (Sheikh Abdurrahman Sadien, one of the most renowned reciters in the world today), it is sure to be a spiritually empowering night. Hearing world class reciters demonstrating the different tetrachords upon which the Qur'an and the Adhan can we be recited, revitalising the heart in different ways accompanied by an explanation and reflection of each style. A much-needed affiliation with the divine revelation and the call and essential knowledge in a day and an age in which our hearts are suffocating in material splendour. Allow the heart to tear through the veils enshrouding the heart as a result of material obsessions and distractions.

Voice of Islam Radio host and Sydney City Masjid Imam (Sheikh Soner Coruhlu) will present alongside international Guest Stars and World Champion Reciters at the *Heart's Calling* event on October 18th at the Bryan Brown Theatre Bankstown. In Turkiye, there is a unique style of calling the adhan built on varying tetrachords. A different melodious composition aimed at addressing the different states of the heart for each prayer time. One's heart is not in the same state potential inattentiveness when waking for Fajr prayer as it may be during the Asr period when the heart is more inclined to be engulfed by the distractions of the material universe. The different recitation styles of the Qur'an will also be analysed with world champion reciters from South Africa (Sheikh Abdurrahman Sadien) and Turkiye (Sheikh Ahmet Karali).
