Once again MBS Light will be celebrating the UNESCO International Jazz Day with a six hour broadcast on Wednesday 30 April from six in the evening to midnight.
Hosted by MBS Light's national jazz presenter, the six hour celebration will include special features by Rob Morris (Saturday Night) & Mike Ravell (Wednesday's Jazz Tonight) PLUS live broadcasts from the Brisbane Jazz Club with performances by the Queensland Conservatorium of Music’s elite vocal ensemble, inVOICES, the Chris James Quartet and others including award-willing vocalists, Pearly Black & Ingrid James.
MBS Light is still the only radio station to do live broadcasts from the Brisbane Jazz Club thanks to Totally Technical's Chris Nainby and MBS Light's parent station 4MBS ClassicFM.

Join the Enharmonie Chamber Ensemble - Bernard Wheaton (tenor/narrator), Lee Norrell (flute) & Tertia Hogan (piano) - for an arrangement of Reineke's "The Nutcracker & the Mouse King" (a work which pre-dated Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker") along with seasonal favorites just four days before Christmas!
It's all happening at the 4MBS Performance tudio, 384 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo, on Saturday 21 December at 7.00 pm.
