Haven't been on Facebook for a while, so a little snippet from tomorrow's Rave to remind some of you what you're missing out on ...
,SNIP.... But NO! Look over here!
Lets not talk about Genocide. Lets not talk about murder. Lets not talk about stealing your money to pay for some of it.
Lets talk about unions!
While the Government is up in arms about unions ripping off major corporations.
And let's get this straight: I don't condone some of the things the CFMEU construction Division have been accused of: but really... We have an elected ALP Government conspiring in the commission of Genocide and the only thing the media wants to talk about is union corruption?
Not murder, not r**e, not humiliation of a whole people.... not land theft... not the targeting of Australian Aid Workers by weapons made by a company who are awarded millions of dollars of gifts by the Albanese ALP Government....
Not the fact that the International Criminal Court is seriously considering a referral on the allegation of complicity in Genocide by the Prime Minister of Australia.... but it wants to talk about corruption. Not corruption in general.... but only about corruption in the union movement.
It doesn't want to talk about corruption that it is involved in, say in the Military Industrial Complex does it?
But I do.
If you want to talk about Corruption, why don't we start by having a look at the deals that the Government has made and is making with its mates in the arms industry. And I'm not just talking about Elbit here... but really, what is giving them $3 million to send to mummy other than corruption? What is taking and grooming an arms industry shill like HTA's Karen Stanton, giving her Quango appointments, flying her around the world to promote a friendly soft face to the Australian death industry and then setting her up to become the Chair of Elbit Australia just in time to receive the $3 million? What is that if not corruption at the highest level?
But let's leave Elbit aside for just a moment and look at Thales. The deals counter deals, handshakes and winks between Thales and successive Australian Governments go back at least a decade when former Defence minister Brendan Nelson went to work for Thales five months before they won the Hawkei light Vehicle contract against all advice.
More recently the Australian National Audit office released a report critical of the way that the Government renewed the lease to Thales for its Benalla and Mullwala factories.... with a side deal by the way with Nioa industries, supplier of sniper rifles to the IDF, that just coincidently is owned by Bob Katter's son in law: Bob Nioa... but anyhow... as reported in a previous Friday Rave... this whole deal stunk of p**s.... in particular, a quite nice bottle of French p**s... champagne I understand, that was given to a government official in exchange for a pole position start and leaked paperwork for the renewal of their lease... You know... it'd take a mob like 4 Corners, with their resources and cash to justice to the tangled web of lies between Thales and the Government.... and its not just in Australia... Thales has been the subject of police raids all across Europe this year over criminal associations, bribery of officials and money laundering involving the sale of submarines and the building of a naval base in Brazil.
Yet, unlike the Construction division, the Albanese ALP Government seems to have no problem with Thales.
In the last cupla weeks handing them close to $60 million for everything from cleaning services to bombs.
So.... again while I don't condone some of the things that the Construction Union has been accused of.... Enough of the faux outrage please all you ALP hacks that couldn't possibly associate with the like of the Construction Division but have no problem handing a cool 60 million to a multinational group of war mongers that have done everything the union is accused of and more on an international scale and killed thousands in the process.
The difference between our Governments reactions to corporate crime and blue collar crime have never been clearer
