In news last week from the NSW Government that they planned to make coal mining companies give at least three years notice of their intention to close a mine, what happens if those said companies opt to place the mine in 'care & maintenance'?
And South Korea has announced that it has joined the Powering Past Coal Alliance (PPCA), committing to close 40 coal-fired power plants by 2040.

In what was supposed to be a routine trip from Aberdeen to Tamworth for a specialist medical appointment turned into a seven-hour ordeal for a carer and her clients.

HammondCare Home Care worker Jenny Ruming's actions on that trip have been honoured with a prestigious award for her extraordinary effort to keep a client living with dementia comfortable and calm in freezing conditions on the New England Highway during a marathon police siege.

Sydney Sixers rising star Caoimhe Bray needed to be told she'd taken a hat-trick as the 16-year-old added another WBBL highlight in a thumping derby defeat of the Thunder.

The Hunter product took a wicket on the last ball of her second over and the first two of her next over in Sydney on Saturday, the third thanks to a fantastic diving catch at point from Erin Burns.
