Tonight on What I Say is a special feature: What I Robert. Ben pays tribute to the departing third of the What I Say team that is Robert, with songs for and about them, and stories to match. There will be dolewave, there will some Tassie rarities, there will be The Fall, The Velvet Underground, and Jonathan Richman. There will not be any Morrissey, Hole, Ben Lee, or Beat Happening. There will be a cursory reference to new host, Andrew, but now is not the time for that, now is the time to say goodbye. From 6pm.

Tonight is Robert's final episode of What I Say! They're playing some of their all time favourite music, packing as much into the hour as possible and getting meta and covering a number of features from the last 4 years. That'll include Jonathan Richman, The Fall's cover songs, Cleaners from Venus, the Make More Noise Comp, global gems from the algorithm including Amanaz (pictured), Harumi and Kim Jung Mi, some Nipaluna/Hobart favourites, Kim Deal in one form or another, and plenty more. After two special episodes from Robert and Elliott (still available on demand - https://www.edgeradio.org.au//shows/what-i-say/), it's now Ben's job to bring it all home with BAD POLITICS, BABY tomorrow evening from 6pm. Artists under question, but still responsible for delightful works will be played or referenced. Expect Burzum, expect Public Image Ltd, and expect Kate Bush. Monday from 6 on Edge.

What I Say is what is good. It’s the music you should be listening to, instead of the junk you actually do listen to…punk.

**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**

It's another What I Say special triple-play, this time the theme is POLITICS. Rob, Elliott, and Ben will each present their own take over the next three weeks. Starting on Monday with Rob tackling overtly and unashamedly woke tunes - exactly how much Chumbawamba is too much Chumbawamba?? Elliott then has part two of Pollie's Picks the week after featuring another selection of songs chosen by the state's elected. Ben finishes it all off on week 3 with Bad Politics, Baby - music from those whose views we find abhorrent, but whose tunes we can't deny.
