One year since this property officially became ours 🫶

We literally pinch ourselves everyday that we are fortunate enough to call The Creek Whitsundays home. Born on country myself and raised on adventure I always wanted to provide that childhood for my children. As my career in Events and Marketing grew so did the desire to own my parcel of land that I could create magic on, host events and develop creatively.

Fortunately, I was lucky enough to find and marry an incredible man who brought his own sense of adventure, motivation and ulitmately moved heaven and earth to make this dream come true.

In 2013 whilst back packing through South America we were sketching out property plans. For years we were so close to securing a property but the stars just never aligned. In 2017 having all but given up on the hope of owning our own venue I founded a company based on the principle of creating venues on other peoples under utilised land (VENYU incase you want to look it up). Then having sold that company in 2023 the stars finally aligned over a few cocktails at Northerlies and then in 2024 we made it happen.

After years and years of dreaming we're now living that dream and sharing our love of it with our children.

Sure it's not easy..... and at times can be incredibly stressful juggling huge financial responsibilities, the pressure to reach perfection for our beloved couples, all whilst ensuring we keep a balanced lifestyle for the kids but at the end of the day it's absolutely worth it.

Signing that paperwork 12 months ago was a HUGE risk but I'm so glad we took it.

Here's to 1 year and many many more to follow 🙏
