Hey, it’s Dom here 👋

You might have noticed more video content on Domin8 Designs recently and a little less here at Domin8 Media - well, there’s a reason: as we launch .

We’re moving our home of professional videography in Hobart and Tasmania across to to bring all our services into one place.

While we’re tidying up some loose ends such as the website and “SEO juice” (yes, it’s a thing) we’ll eventually deactivate this account.

Fantastic to be able to share some of our recent work - featuring VORTEC Global and the stunning Mathew Goggin's 7 Mile Beach Golf Course ⛳️

Captured on what was a ripper winter day, it was great to work alongside George from Vortec as well as Anthony and the team on this promotional piece for the VX2000 - boasting a mind-boggling 1-million, 300-thousand liters pumped.

The aerial scenery captured speaks for itself... but this course is going to be truly incredible.

We're pretty slack at updating what we have been up to sometimes - so we're on a bit of a blitz including a quick video feature for Local Motor Group here in Hobart 🏎️

LMG wanted to showcase their brand new location and particularly very high quality new service area - so Eleanor put Dom to work in capturing a short piece to camera overlaid with some b-roll footage.

Here's a few video snippets from the project which, with a tight deadline, shows a really effective videography outcome can be captured and delivered in a relatively short timeframe.

We dusted off the thermals over the last weekend to join Matt from in the Central Highlands of Tasmania.

We've been working together on developing some longer form fishing content and the opening of the Tassie trout fishing season provided a great opportunity to get some more episodes under the belt.

The mini-series is called "Tales From The Fly" and shares insight into some of the fishing landscape and locations around Tasmania. Here's a few video snaps from the episode captured at popular fishing spot Little Pine Lagoon.

What have we been working on? 🤔 We teamed up with Vortec Global the last fortnight to capture and share some incredible footage coming soon - featuring of Mathew Goggin's iconic 7 Mile Beach Golf Course.

Vortec were after a videographer to capture a feature video of their machinery in action, including the current 13 holes hydroseeded and over 1.3 million litres applied through the Vortec Global VX2000 hydromulcher.

Here's a sneak peek as we'll share the finished product soon!

While our focus is usually on shorter form content, it’s an exciting night tonight ahead of the premiere of Trout Tales new mini series called “Tales From The Fly” - showcasing some of the best and most beaut fly fishing locations from Tassie.

7pm tonight on the Trout Tales Tasmania YouTube the first episode goes live, showing off the pretty speccy Herne Lagoon in the Central Highlands region - here’s the trailer for the video 🎣
