The journey continues and everyone’s invited.

This Buwan ng Wika, let’s celebrate our food and our culture.

This Melbourne edition means a lot to us. It’s inspired by our time back home where we cooked at Guevarra’s by Chef Laudico and shared stories (and lumpia) with the incredible Abi Marquez.
Those moments reminded us of the richness of Filipino flavours and why it matters to keep sharing them.

Let’s not forget the Adobo Queen herself: Chef Nancy Lumen, who shared her delicious Adobo Rice during her cooking demo for Kwentong Adobo with Mama Sita!

The Adobros are beyond grateful to have shared the kitchen with such a culinary icon and to continue working hand in hand with in honoring and pushing Filipino food forward.

Moments like these remind us that food is more than a dish. It’s a story, a legacy, and a movement. Thank you, Chef Nancy , for your wisdom, warmth, and unwavering passion. And thank you Mama Sita for the continued trust.

During the cooking demo with Mama Sita for Kwentong Adobo, the Adobros whipped up not just one but three amazing dishes straight from the heart of Filipino food innovation 🇵🇭

• Chef Morris served Compressed Adobo with saba ensalada and a rich coconut & miso sauce.
• Chef Michael brought a refreshing twist with Kinilaw na Puso ng Saging paired with a crisp rice tuile.
• And to end on a sweet note, they plated a Deconstructed Mango Cheesecake that was both nostalgic and modern.

We had so much fun sharing our recipes and stories behind each dish and even more fun cooking live during the demo!
