- Saints refusal to give Geelong the 2026 Premiership by not trading Marshall to them will never be forgiven and now are up there with Hawthorn as my most hated clubs in the comp

Hey, we all survived our first Saturday without footy 😬. It’s just another step closer to footy being back 😀.

2026 Footy season is definitely going to look a lot different for me - this year ended my 17 years of covering local footy in Colac. It started at the local community radio station calling Colac Tigers games then to the CDFNL and off to commercial radio on Mixx Fm with CDFNL Live launched.

It’s been an amazing ride and I have loved every moment

My top five favourite AFL Grand Finals.
I think 97’ sits on top as it was my first full season following football and building my absolute love for the game but also it’s such a ripper of a game with so many story lines and twist and turns.

My passion for calling footy started when i was 10 - calling pretend AFL games in the back yard.

In 2009 i called my first game of footy live on radio on Otway FM. Since then i have called GFL, CDFNL, VFLW, Metro Juniors and in 2011 an AFL Practice match between Richmond and Adelaide.

Currently i manage CDFNL Live on Mixx1063
