I thought I’d better put up some more of my family reconstitutions even if they are not as legible or as 'new' as they should be. I did a quick survey using the search box facility at the end of one of my blog posts. Entering, “Family Reconstitutions”, took me to quite a few of my earlier posts; numbers 11, 24, 31, 41, 48, 55 for example....

Just a quickie... I imagine most readers climbed down their family tree towards their Irish orphan. I came the other way...

Just a quickie... I imagine most readers climbed down their family tree towards their Irish orphan. I came the other way, up from the young saplings themselves as they arrived in Australia...starting with shipping lists, especially the magnificentally detailed NSW Board of immigration lists. I soon joined the throng looking for connections, in early Church records, and in the Registry of births, deaths and marriages....

Just a quickie… I imagine most readers climbed down their family tree towards their Irish orphan. I came the other way, up from the young saplings themselves as they arrived in Australia& #823…
