Picnic hill is returning to Redcliffe on Friday, 11 September, with a country-inspired night supporting local young people and families through Redcliffe Youth Space. ❤️

The Paddock will feature live performances from the Nathan Williams Band, Claire Harris from Footloose Fun and the Bo’ness Brothers, alongside food, drinks and family-friendly entertainment.

🌟 Who is Redcliffe’s next community champion?

From sporting clubs and schools to community groups, environmental projects and everyday acts of kindness, local volunteers go above and beyond to make Redcliffe a great place to live, work and thrive.

Kerri-Anne Dooley MP wants to shine a spotlight on these incredible volunteers through the Redcliffe Volunteer Awards, with 10 categories recognising community champions, including:

Nominees must live and volunteer within the Redcliffe electorate and have made a positive contribution through volunteering, either in the past two years or through a sustained commitment over time.

Nominated volunteers will be recognised at a special morning tea on Wednesday, 21 October, from 10am to 11.30am at Redcliffe Leagues Club.

🎨🏉 Local student’s art takes centre stage for the Broncos!

Clontarf Beach State High School student Jasmine Rogers has combined culture, creativity and sport after being commissioned to hand-paint Indigenous Round boots for Brisbane Broncos NRLW player Lauren Dam.

A proud Gubbi Gubbi and Gureng Gureng young woman, Jasmine created artwork telling Lauren’s story and connection to Country, representing both Dubbo and Sawtell.

The project highlights the talent of local students and the power of Indigenous art to share stories, celebrate identity and connect culture with the wider community. ❤️💛🖤

🎉 150 years of Humpybong State School!

Generations of students, staff and families will come together this month as Humpybong State School celebrates 150 years of education on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
