Dogdom Update: Specialty Show Points Now Included!

We’ve listened to our members and are excited to announce that specialty show results are now included in Dogdom’s rankings!

✅ Points from specialty shows have been added to both the Breed and Neuter Breed sections.

✅ Eligible shows must have used one of the online entry providers—Showmanager, Easy Dogs, or Ozentries—to be included.

✅ Results have been backdated to January 1 to ensure accuracy.

‼️We want this system to be as fair and comprehensive as possible. If your specialty show is missing, please let us know!

✅ To keep things equitable, specialty show points will not be added to the All Breeds rankings, as some breeds don’t have the opportunity to compete in specialties.

💜 Thank you for your feedback—we’re committed to making Dogdom the best platform for showcasing your dogs’ achievements!

Nominations Now Open for the Australian Dog World Hall of Fame!

Established in 2014 by Dog News Australia the Hall of Fame recognises retired dogs who've reached remarkable heights for their breed breaking Best in Show & Specialty records and or producing many exceptional offspring, overall dogs who have left an undeniable mark on their breed.

The inaugural inductees are unveiled at the Top Dog Final, marking a historic moment in 2014 when we were able to honour these dogs for the first time!

📜 **How to Nominate:**

Send your nominations with a bio for the dog you are nominating including their extraordinary feats and a photograph to

Our esteemed panel of Australian Judges will carefully evaluate each submission.

Submissions close Friday the 7th of February 2025 at 9am & the nominees will be notified if their application is successful by Friday the 14th of February enabling time to plan their trip to the final.

*Please note someone must be present at the Top Dog Grand Final on March 15th, 2025 at Orchard Hills to accept the award.

A maximum of 4 Dogs will be inducted per year, this year we are searching for 3 inductees with 1 from last year who was unable to attend accepting their honours this year.

Winning around Australia continues with
2 x BEST IN SHOW - a belated celebration for the Samoyed - Sup Ch Ahzu Terror At the Opera ET WPD owned by Rachie Mills & M Harrison. These wins were at the Dogs ACT PM Show 22/9 and The Hills Dog Club the following weekend. The Judges for the 2 shows were D Mahoney & Dr K Hedberg.
