Join StarBurst Film Festival Founder / Director Kirstie Boerst as we dive into every aspect of filmmaking, from brainstorming creative ideas to how to make a film.

Kirstie is a vocational educator specialising in creative industries education and a film producer.

These dynamic and hands-on filmmaking workshops are designed for children and teens aged 8 to 17 eager to explore the world of filmmaking.

In January 2025 we are proud to launch the S-BFS&FS Community Education Program presented by Shadow Wolves Productions and S-BFF&FS and specially crafted to suit a variety of children, teens and adults.

The program will also include an Accessible Filmmaking Program open to Neuro-divergent community members ages 14 to 17
