How long since you've seen a great slap-stick comedy? It's been a while for us so we were super excited to see one of the classic comedy franchises of the 80s and 90s return with The Naked Gun - and after attending a special preview screening, it certainly doesn't disappoint! Although Leslie Nielson was always going to be a tough act to follow, an unusual choice has stepped up and fills the role of Frank Drebbin Jnr perfectly. Liam Neeson, better known for his action roles, moves into this comedy and makes the role his own, it's such a good fit! It's another in the series rather than a remake, and continues on the theme of the original 3 movies fantastically with heaps of the fun and silly jokes that this franchise is known for and plenty of laughs. The Naked Gun opens here in cinemas 21 Aug and is a super fun movie!

Don't you love a great movie sequel? Even better when it's been a long time and it still lives up to the hype! We have just caught a special preview screening of Freakier Friday and it was such a fun movie! 22 years after Jamie Lee Curtis and Lidsay Lohan starred in Freaky Friday, they are back facing a similar scenario for a new generation in this awesome family flick! Freakier Friday releases here in Australia in cinemas 7 Aug and is definitely worth a watch!

Are you excited for the new Superman movie? We've just been along to see a special preview screening and it's awesome! It's a stand alone film with no need for an extensive backstory and this movie gets straight into the action with a perfect mix of humour! And while he had some big shoes to fill following previous actors playing the same hero, David Corenswet does an amazing job as Superman and absolutely nails his role. A wonderful movie that keeps the superhero genre doing great things! Superman opens in cinemas here in Aus on Thursday 10 July!

Are you a fan of the Smurfs? These lovable blue characters have been entertaining us for generations and they're back again in 2025! We have just caught a special preview screening of the Smurfs and it was heaps of fun! With lovely animation, a fun storyline, and some big names adding their voices to this movie, including Rhiannah as Smurfette, kids will love this fun family movie. Smurfs releases on the big screen here in Aus in cinemas 10 July!

Are you ready to catch one of the most famous rock operas right here in Brisbane? Jesus Christ Superstar is an absolute classic, and is showing right now at QPAC here in Brisabne. We caught the opening night and it was so good, the performances were amazing and the music and dancing had so much energy. You won't be disappointed with this one, it was such a fun night out! On from now through to 10 Aug !

Can you believe that it's over 30 years since we first experienced the amazing world of Jurassic World? It’s one of the most awesome film franchises and the latest movie, Jurassic World Rebirth is a fantastic addition! We've just finished watching a special advance screening and this is one that definitely warrants a visit to see it on the big screen. Starring Scarlett Johannsen, Jurassic World Rebirth has incredible visuals and heaps of dino action scenes - it's such a fun movie! Opening 3 July in cinemas!
