Kids in the City Magazine - Brisbane Locally focused print and online magazine, bringing the best in community news, events, feature arti So we have five basic rules:
1. Give people room to speak.

Kids in the City is a locally focused print and online magazine, bringing the best in community news, events, features and more to parents throughout Brisbane! Published for over thirteen years, we set ourselves apart through our unique connection to our local market, our dedication to quality content and design, our honest and genuine approach, and our commitment to our community, for whom we exi

st. Made by local parents, for local parents, it is our mission to be the first and only place families come to connect – where they are understood, united and inspired. Because of that, we are the most trusted and reliable sources of information for parents throughout our communities. WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the simple things, in enjoying family life and appreciating our wonderful corner of the world. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child and that in today’s world, that village is your community. We believe that parenting can be difficult yet amazing, mundane yet emotional, and we believe that you should never go it alone. We are passionate about our local community and local business, about education and our local environment, and about uniting families across the area. To our readers we are the friend when they need a boost, the diary when they are stuck for something to do, and the high-five when they achieve. Genuine, down-to-earth and in tune with everyday parents, Kids in the City is authentic, fresh, friendly and trustworthy. We wholeheartedly care about our readers and see the world through their eyes. We are inclusive, understanding and are here to support our local families, travelling the road of parenting together with them. HOUSE RULES

We respect everyone’s right to express their thoughts and opinions, and we encourage constructive dialogue. However, if your contributions don’t comply with Facebook’s Terms or our House Rules, we may remove them. And if you repeatedly don’t adhere to these rules we may ban you from posting to the Kids in the City page. While we do moderate this site, we hope to create a community with you that is built on respect, with a culture of self-moderation. Keep your comments constructive and nice. Don’t include content, images or links to things that could be considered obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, overtly sexual, discriminatory, or hateful to another person or organisation — including us, our partners, our employees, competitors, and other people or organisations.

2. Be helpful, but don’t post anything that disrupts conversations or targets others. Don’t consistently respond to posts with no merit other than to belittle others.

3. This is a spam free zone. So no repeat comments or unsolicited ads; no multiple or repetitive posts by a single user; and no repetitive comments copy-pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users.

4. Keep your comments relevant to both our page and the discussion you are having. Post only information that is factually accurate.

5. Don’t post your own personal information or anyone else's personal information. We welcome your feedback, both positive and negative, and will respond to your comments as quickly as we can. While we support lively, open discussion, we reserve the right at our discretion to delete any comments that don’t comply with our rules or which we otherwise think are inappropriate and (if required) ban users. That’s enough of the serious stuff! Now let’s have some fun. Scroll, add a comment, and get involved. We look forward to interacting with you and thanks for becoming a fan of our page.
