Driven by an extraordinary mission to save 100,000 lives, Simmo has dedicated his Australia tour to elevating the well-being of recipients, their families, and donors alike. Now, as his inspiring journey nears its conclusion, Simmo aims to kick off a new wave of donors by achieving a groundbreaking milestone—a record for the most blood donations in a single day!Why Break the Record?

Addison’s story is a powerful testament to the importance of blood donations. Diagnosed last year with very severe aplastic anaemia, Addison has received over 60 transfusions of blood and platelets—lifesaving contributions that have kept her alive during her most challenging days. For six months, Addison relied on transfusions every other day while her family launched a global search for a bone marrow donor. Thankfully, a match was found in the UK, but Addison’s journey did not end there. To prepare for her bone marrow transplant, Addison endured intense conditioning, including chemotherapy and radiation, followed by months in the hospital where transfusions supported her recovery.Without those 60 transfusions, Addison’s story might have had a very different ending. Each life-saving donation represents a person who stepped forward to make a difference—proving that blood donors are heroes in every sense of the word.
