Our books celebrate place and heart. They build resilience, in the sense that feeling connected to one another builds community. A resilient community withstands bushfires, floods and pandemics. A resilient community looks after the older generations, even when their value is no longer evident to the economy. We have four titles due to be published in 2022.

Brindy is the character in a new children’s book, Our Bush Capital (written by local author, Samantha Tidy and illustrated by local illustrator and designer, Juliette Dudley).

Canberra is where my heart is full Of people, places memorable

Brindy is so glad to be growing up in Canberra, and there are lots of things to do. Rides on the Merry-Go-Round in the city, The Floriade Ferris wheel, early morning balloon adventures, watching trees grow at the Arboretum, chasing dinosaurs at the National Museum, spotting snow on the Brindabellas, finding the pears at the National Gallery, watching coins get made at the Mint... its rather exhausting having such a fun childhood.

Where fires once blazed, some saplings grew The Arboretum grows as we grow too.
