SBS celebrates 50 years 🥳

Monday 9th June marked 50 years since the national broadcaster went live on the airways as Radio 2EA and 3EA. Intended to be a 3-month experiment for Australia's migrant communities, SBS has now expanded to inform, educate and entertain on screens and online half a century later.

Of course, SBS Spice joined in the celebrations as all of the broadcaster's voices united to take a trip down memory lane and share a plate. Spice's own Dilpreet Kaur Taggar led the festivities as MC alongside SBS News' Ricardo Gonçalves.

SBS Spice is proud to be part of a legacy that has served Australia's multicultural community for 50 years. Cheers to many more years of keeping our country's media spicy 🌶️
