Think commenting’s on LinkedIn is a waste of time?

I commented on a random post about cheesy corporate language.

And got 9,393 impressions.

Not bad.

Every comment, every post, every connection, every follow is another ticket in the LinkedIn visibility lottery.

Imagine you’re out shopping.

You see a cute dress. You think, ‘damn I’d look great in that,’ so you pull it from the rack and check it out.

Then what do you do next? You check the price tag.

Because if you are seriously gonna go to the effort of trying it on, you need to know if it’s a realistic price.

Imagine looking for the price tag and being unable to find it.

Even if the dress is amazing, made from gorgeous fabrics, and will likely look fabulous on, you still want to know the price. And you’d be feeling pretty pi**ed off if the price tag is missing.

THAT is how your prospects feel if you don’t show prices upfront. Just give them the price
~on LinkedIn in your profile
~on LinkedIn in your sales posts
~on your website sales page

If you need to show value because your price is high-ticket, then show value. Don’t hide the price away and force your prospects to ask. Because they won’t. They’ll just keep browsing till they find another great dress which does have the price tag showing.

You can test this right now:
1~ Pretend you’re a prospect.
2~ Look at your LinkedIn profile.
3~ Is there any mention of prices?
4~ If not, fix it.

“I don’t know what to post”

Lots of my clients say this. Some days it’s bloody hard.

Your brain is saying things like:
‘Everyone’s already said everything about my topic’
‘Why would anyone listen to me?’
’What’s the point, I don’t get any comments anyway’
’I’m trying but I just can’t think of anything interesting’

And how to get out of that funk? There’s a few options:
💚think of the questions you can answer - turn that into post
💛think of advice you gave recently - turn that into a post
🧡think of your best performing previous posts - share more of the same
❤️take a previous post and reshare it (this is a post from one year ago, rewritten slightly)
💜look at a top creator in a different industry - take inspiration from their best posts (don’t copy)

Unfortunately, being consistent on LinkedIn means having strategies to find content when you can’t think of anything.

Because otherwise
❌You give up for a day
❌That day turns into two, then three
❌Before you know it, you’ve not posted for a month
❌You’ve lost whatever reach you’ve gained

And starting over is daunting.
