📍Old Telegraph Track, Cape York

We were a little hesitant about hitting this track! This is the same car that we need to take us around the country, so we thought we would just take a day trip out there to take a look at a few of the obstacles.

Surprisingly, and what you don’t read or see online - is that a good proportion of the track is a pretty cruisey track through the scrub. There are some pretty crazy obstacles, notably Palm Creek and Gunshot, but there are 🐥 tracks around them too. Plenty of stock standard 4WDs on the track, some new, some old, all giving it a go!

On the Northern end of the track, Elliot Falls and Fruit Bat Falls were incredible swimming holes!

We've been working on this for nearly a year now, and we're really proud of it.

This concept came about because I was missing having a spare wheel bin bag since getting a wagon. So that was the goal - a bin bag that's free standing, zips shut, doesn’t leak (when using a plastic bin insert), fits EVERYWHERE with multiple options to attach it.

When I say everywhere, I REALLY mean it - behind your centre console, clipped to the back of your head rest, clipped to your cargo barrier (or Kaon molle panel), hang it off from your awning (to keep animals out of it overnight), slide it into the included sail track on your caravan/camper trailer tool box, mount to the side of your caravan next to your picnic table, mount it to the back of your caravan, the gunnels of your boat, the back (or inside wall) of your ute canopy.... Or anywhere else you can think of!

📍Weipa! So blessed to watch this huge manta ray cruising up and down the beach all arvo ❤️

Weipa is a little bit of a detour off the main PDR on the way up to Cape York but we spent 3 nights here and loved it. A cool little town, beautiful beaches and sunsets that remind us of home!

So excited for the start of our Cape York adventure with our good friends ! 😁

After a quiet couple of weeks along the Savannah Way we’ve absolutely loved travelling with friends, they have also very conveniently planned the next few weeks all for us! 😁

Can’t wait to show you what we got up on in Cape York. It absolutely exceeded our expectations, and we loved every minute of it!

We’re in QLD…and looking a little dusty! 😂🫣

Making our way across the notorious stretch of road from Borroloola in the NT to Hells Gate in QLD.

We’re absolutely loving the freecamps along the Savannah Way! Dusty roads, no traffic, and beautiful riverside camps to ourselves - that’s what we love! 😁

📍Limmen National Park, NT

One of the most isolated and remote parks in the NT. We absolutely LOVED it out here!

A great 4WD track through the very unique Western Lost City sandstone formations, and swimming at Butterfly Falls. Ps - how beautiful are the vibrant beetles!!

The camping out here is fantastic! Can’t wait to show you what we got up to here on our YouTube ep. tomorrow. 😎

After the BEST couple of months in the NT, we’ve made a move towards QLD via some of the best off grid remote camping we’ve come across thus far!

We made tracks towards Roper Bar and Limmen National Park, heading for the Savannah Way.

Bush camps all to ourselves along the Roper River, Chloe catches her first barra, more wild buffalo, crocs and incredible sunsets!

Here it is! We’ve been using a prototype of the Wolstead Cookmaster for nearly 6 months now and we absolutely LOVE IT! It’s a really handy kitchen appliance, especially in a caravan where space is limited.

It comes with two lids - an air fryer lid for searing, roasting, broiling, baking, air frying, pizza, BBQ, and dehydrating and a multi cooker lid for slow cooking, rice, steaming, sous vide and simmering. Capacity is 8L, about the size of any other brand air fryer. It is a non stick ceramic coated aluminium pot that can be removed from the unit for easy cleaning.

It has two heating elements, bottom one is 1800w and the one in the lid is 1300w. We’ve used it heaps offgrid on the inverter, even long 4hr slow cooks and we’ve had no dramas with battery capacity.

📍Gunn Point, NT

A beautiful free camp right on the beach not far from the town of Darwin. We had so many people tell us to check Gunn Point but I guess due to the proximity to the city, this place unfortunately is littered with rubbish and there’s a fair bit of antisocial behaviour that goes on ☹️ Nevertheless, the sunsets were absolutely beautiful!

Not a bad spot to whip up some homemade sausage rolls on our Kitchen Warehouse Wolstead Cookmaster. Keep an eye out on our YouTube ep. tomorrow where we finally show you through this beast of a machine we’ve been testing flat out for the past 6 months. Just a few KM from Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem Land is Banubanu Beach Retreat on Bremer Island.

We had the best day over there! Lunch and cocktails at the restaurant, swimming in the pool, took a walk around the island, found an old abandoned raft, and enjoyed using kayaks down at the beach.

Make sure you book the return ferry journey when you get to Nhulunbuy! It was an absolute highlight for us 😁

📍Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem Land

Huge thank you to local legend Griffo for taking us out for an awesome day on the water, fishing and checking out the local islands. Griffo guaranteed us all a fish and he certainly did not disappoint! Pulling up fish after fish after fish, that’s the type of fishing I (Tiff) can get around! 😂

Chloe is also now HOOKED on fishing! So much so we’ve had to go out and buy her a rod and reel - she was sick of asking for a turn of Dads! 😂

Honestly this one of the BEST days we’ve had on this trip so far! 😊

📍East Arnhem Land

One of our BEST adventures yet! 700km there and back along the infamous Central Arnhem Road, just weeks after reopening from some very big late rain! We were a little apprehensive about what lay ahead…

But what we experienced blew us away! The most amazing creeks and waterfalls to swim in, jungle swings, beautiful beaches, epic fishing, remote islands and the friendliest locals who took us in as their own and showed us what their home town has to offer! 🥰
