📍Snowy Mountains

I think these pics speak a thousand words - we LOVED the Snowy Mountains! The Mt Kosciuszko region had never been on our radar - in fact we even considered skipping it as we wernt really too sure where to go or what was open since the snow season was officially over.

We based ourselves at Island Bend Campground and day tripped to Thredbo and Charlotte’s Pass to see what was left of the snow up there. For us Perth peeps, it felt like a winter wonderland! 😂😂 can only imagine what it’s like in the middle of the snow season!

We then moved on to the Long Plain area to check out the Yarrangobillly Caves and thermal pool. This whole area was an absolute highlight of our trip around Aus!!

📍Bendeela Campground, Kangaroo Valley

When I said I was on the hunt for wombats in the wild, you guys all told me this place was a must visit! And you certainly weren’t wrong ❤️ dozens and dozens of wombats waltzing through the campground, completely unfazed by humans. A very cool experience, the kids were in awe!

We were warned the wombats have a tendency to scratch their butts on your caravan overnight and sure enough, in the middle of the night we woke to this little guy scratching himself on our caravan steps 😂

Thank you all for suggesting we come here - we loved it!

🎄Merry Christmas🎄

Hope you all have a beautiful day surrounded by those you love - for us, in real time, we are back in WA soaking up time with family and friends…and the kids are living their best lives scooting around on their new electric quads 😂 what’s Christmas without a quick visit to the emergency room for Cam…(who’s foot got run over and torn up by said quad bike - don’t worry he’s OK after a quick glue and tetanus shot…😬) how amazing are the doctors and nurses working today xx

We’ll be taking a break from YouTube and socials over the next week but don’t worry, we still have so much of our lap around Aus to share with you all - lots more of NSW, VIC and SA to come!

We can’t thank you all enough for all your love, support, generosity and encouragement this year. We spent 12 months living in a caravan and what a wild time we had!

📍Taronga Western Plains Dubbo Zoo

Tiff loves zoos, and this one was high on her bucket list. We completely splurged on an overnight stay here at the zoo, and LOVED every minute of it! The room overlooked the African Savannah - never thought I would wake up to see a giraffe through the window! A once in a lifetime stay and it did not disappoint 😍

Back on the coast after a few weeks inland and how BEAUTIFUL is this NSW beach camp! Pebbly Beach - a bit of an adventure getting in 😬 4WD track, dragging the van along the beach AND a creek crossing that can only be done at dead low tide! We absolutely loved it here 😍

Our last few days in QLD exploring the sights around Sundown National Park with . After 3 great months in QLD we are so excited to see what NSW has in store for us! 😁

Reunited with our travel buddies over in Brissie! . Ours plans might have been thrown up in the air with the Moreton Island bushfires, but regardless we had the best few weeks travelling with them through Kenilworth, and then on to Sundown NP!

ps - did you really go to Kenilworth if you didn’t gorge yourself silly on donuts! 🤭🤭

📍Exploring Lake Mckenzie and the west side of Fraser!

Yep, it’s true what they say - west is best! 😎 wish we could have taken the van through those inland tracks to get there. It’s calm, it’s beautiful and it’s quiet! ☺️

📍Fraser Island

Absolute beach front camping! We spent the week in Zone 4 - Guluri and Eli Creek on the eastern side of the island. Located right near the shipwreck and Eli Creek. Not ideal when windy but hows those views! 😍

We LOVED our time here and can’t wait to show you what we got up to! 😁

We’ve had ours for over 10 months now, and they are AWESOME for privacy & blocking wind/rain. OR roll up the windows and enjoy a breeze through camp 👌

📍Lake Nuga Nuga

Gotta love those camps you randomly stumble across - where there’s no particular drawcard, but it’s beautiful, quiet, and gives you a moment to sit back and relax! 😊 The kids had the BEST time paddling in the water and swinging in the hammock all day long. This was one of those “nothing” camps but honestly it’s up there as one of our absolute favs this trip!!
