We are declaring September to be Oscar the Wild Month!

What is Oscar the Wild? We've played their songs on our show, they've played live at Stonecutters and at Clarity Records, and they even opened for AC/DC and Amyl and The Sniffers for goodness' sake, but they're not quite a punk band. On record and onstage, this incredibly talented Adelaide band blends alternative, country, pop and a variety of other sounds

In a couple of weeks, they'll be releasing a FOUR band split EP with Bukowski, Talk Heavy and Great Job! and then they'll be launching it at The Ed Castle on the 24th. Lead singer Ruby will be joining us on tonight's show to break down the EP and a little bit about the band's sound as well

We needed a quick moment to get warmed up for Tuesday night's show but once things got going we turned up the HEAT

First we had an incredibly insightful interview with Lachy from Darwin crushers KOH about their debut EP Golden Death. Absolutely check out the full EP because it rips and follow the band because the next one won't be far away

THEN we followed things up with Tom from No Basis live in studio to talk about tomorrow's music gig/art exhibition called GRIBBLYFEST. You can expect a full audiovisual experience with hot pink sculptures, costumes, headpieces, codpieces, live sets from No Basis, Crone and Badland Caravan and apparently a lot of spandex

We finished things off by playing the whole At What Cost? EP by No Peace to say goodbye to our fallen hardcore brethren
