From Farm Transparency Project

FTP's founding director, Chris Delforce, has been raided by police this morning at his home in Melbourne/Naarm, and had his phone and computers seized.

The raid is in response to footage of animal cruelty published by FTP earlier this year, captured by anonymous investigators at twenty piggeries across the state of Victoria.

Despite the serious cruelty uncovered, and complaints made by FTP to authorities at the time, there have been no raids or charges against the piggeries.

Apparently, extreme and widespread animal cruelty is of far less concern to the Victorian government than the people who expose it.
