Bus Stop Films is looking for a team of emerging producers to come on board for our 2025 class film projects as Inclusive Producer’s Attachments.

Work with in-house Producer Dianna La Grassa and a team of IPA alumni producers to bring to life 22 inclusively made short films, being produced through the Accessible Filmmaking Program.

Now in its sixth year, Digital Originals is a nationwide talent development program supporting screen creatives from historically under-represented backgrounds, including those who identify as culturally and linguistically diverse, First Nations, d/Deaf and disabled, women and gender diverse, LGBTQIA+ and those from regional and remote areas.

Our Medicine premieres tomorrow night on SBS Australia and NITV 📺

Produced by Karla Hart Enteprises and Periscope Pictures, Our Medicine shines a spotlight on First Nations healthcare, including ancient healing practices in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The show also explores the daily challenges of medical practitioners as they tackle working on the frontline.

The series is co-directed by Karla Hart and Kimberly Benjamin.

We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2024 SDIN Award is The Assembly, produced by Helium Pictures for ABC, supported by Screen NSW, Aspect, Bus Stop Films and Macquarie University.

The Assembly follows a group of autistic journalism students as they interview Australian personalities, under the guidance of journalist, Leigh Sales.

The series is an Australian first, highlighting the strengths of neurodivergent people and challenging perceived stereotypes. It has also led to Macquarie University developing Australia's first autism-friendly journalism course.

The award was presented by SAFC's CEO, Kate Croser, on behalf of the SDIN, to Mark Fennessy of Helium Pictures.
