We are ready to WRITE! Next Tuesday 18th 6-8.30pm at The Channel, we’ll be holding our next development session with a focus on the foundations of writing for audio. We’ll have the awesome overseeing the workshop. P***ephone (P***e) is a radio presenter, podcast creator, writer, audio mentor and meme queen from Naarm. What an absolute pleasure listening to another of our member’s original stories and chat to the creatives who made it happen! Last night at our development workshop we brainstormed some new original stories concepts and got to listen to ‘Camel Drover’ by Jennifer Beasley, featuring .linguini , edited by Tom Kuhlmann! We got creeped out today! Recording the fabulous Andrea Gillum’s script ‘The Wind Telephone’ featuring the voices of Jake Matricardi, John Crawley and Rachael Carolane. A random prompt; a random script; a random writer; every episode. The Script Roulette Podcast offers a space for up and coming story tellers to write, have their work produced and for listeners to hear the behind the scenes production of the making of an audio drama. From the writing process, the actors cold read to the final product of finished work. We’re here to expose new stories, new writers and the creative process of making a play.

Every month we release a prompt, whether that be a genre, an image, a theme etc - then anyone in our Facebook Group can write a short 5 - 10 minute radio play based off the prompt! We then produce the play! 😱🎙
