We're thrilled to have received Enterprise Business funding from Screen Australia to continue to expand Mad Ones! We'e excited to be in the program alongside our friends at Djali House and a number of other exciting and innovative Australian production companies.

Screen Australia has announced that 18 individual opportunities and 18 business proposals will share $5.2 million of Enterprise funding.

We're thrilled to announce that Latecomers, produced by Lazy Susan Films and Mad Ones Films, has won the prestigious annual SDIN Award at the 21st Annual SPA Awards! The groundbreaking series was recognised for its powerful storytelling and its contribution to increasing diversity and inclusion in the Australian screen industry.

Created by Angus Thompson and Emma Myers, who drew on their own experiences of living with cerebral palsy, Latecomers tells the story of two strangers who, after watching their care workers hook up at a bar, become determined to explore their own relationships with s*x, and each other. The series stars Angus Thompson and Hannah Diviney, and Alistair Baldwin, who identifies as living with a disability, directed one of the episodes.

We want to extend our congratulations to producers Liam Heyen (Mad Ones Films) and Hannah Ngo (Lazy Susan Films) on this well-deserved recognition of their hard work and dedication. Thank you for your contribution to making Australian screen industries more diverse and inclusive.
