Half-Irish, German-born prodigy David Jackson has conquered crates of some of the biggest names in the scene, being championed by the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Gerd Janson, Denis Sulta and DJ Seinfeld.

The break-through DJ and producer is rapidly gained attention from all around the globe for his unique take on 80s melodies, Italo disco and rave euphoria, all combined in his very own futuristic sound signature.

🎧 Coming up tonight on Friendly Potential Radio: Azure + Simon.

Azure is a deejay, producer and promoter from Ōtautahi. We last hosted him on the radio in 2016, alongside his 2XM co-conspirator, Ben Murray. Since then, 2XM has released works for SlothBoogie, Café del Mar, Dansu Discs, Bolting Bits, Of Leisure, and Eton Messy, while Azure has put out solo work for B2BO: Been To Berlin Once. Alongside his nighttime exploits, Azure has also set up Feeling Blue Studios, a space for burgeoning electronic artists in Christchurch. He shells out an hour of breakbeat inflected greatness to open the show. In the second half, FP DJ Simon eats some chocolate and explores the dustier edges of his record collection.
