The Ingalalla Waterfalls is a short but pleasant walk when there is so much green grass about. The sound of the water falling down from the top of the waterfall and then making it’s way along the creek all adds to the serenity of the location.

The Port Elliot Caravan Park is situated right along side of Horseshoe Bay. After a few windy days we were able to put the drone up in the sky for a birds eye view of the Bay. With the sunrise this morning, happy days🙂

Milang is always a very nice location to either do a day trip to or to spend even a few days there sitting back and taking it all in.

It is only a short distance from Milang to Strathalbyn where we had a look at the Strathalbyn Soldiers Memorial Gardens. So well kept, this would look even better when the roses are out in flower.

The railway line to Milang was first opened on the 17th December 1884. The Milang Railway Museum tells the story of the Lakes Railway, displaying a collection of South Australian Railways rolling stock and equipment.

With such a nice day for walking, we jumped onto the ferry and crossed over to walk up to the Point Malcolm Lighthouse, Australia’s only inland Lighthouse. Perfect day for it offering great lake views.
