Saturday night our ‘alcohol free’ dance party was SO MUCH FUN 🙌🏻💃🙌🏻

Thank you to everyone who came and to the one brave man, Francis Berta , who showed up and danced 🙌🏻

Thank you Pia Boschetti for hosting with me, DJ Andrea for pumping out the music for 4 hours straight 💃

Why did we do this?
Because I would like to change the culture around needing to have alcohol in order to dance.
To provide a space for people who don’t drink, who don’t feel comfortable in a venue where alcohol is served or being around people who are drunk.

This isn’t a judgement call - it’s an opportunity to do things differently.

BUT mostly . . . because dancing makes you feel good 😍

I’ve spent quite a bit of time lately feeling as though I’m stuck.

Stuck between where I’ve been and where I want to go.
Knowing I want something different, but not quite being able to see what that different looks like.

And I’m beginning to wonder if maybe I haven’t been stuck at all.

Maybe my body and soul have been asking me to stop pushing long enough to listen.

To heal some of what needed healing.
To reconnect with myself beneath all the roles, expectations and ideas of what I should be doing.
To become curious about what actually brings me alive.

Perhaps the stillness wasn’t keeping me from my path.

Perhaps the stillness was part of the path.

And maybe moving forward doesn’t begin with having the whole plan figured out.

Maybe it begins with one small thing.
One honest choice.
One little spark of following your JOY✨
