Hey everyone!
I just wanted to wish you all a very happy Christmas.
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I hope you get some lovely rest, time with your loved ones, and plenty of yummy food!

What an amazing year we’ve had. We created so much together, especially with the Tamil Feast, AND our Xmas fundraiser, and that was only possible because of the huge amount of work everyone put in.

A massive thank you to Vicky and David Hills , who came to every rehearsal — so solid, so reliable — setting up, teas, coffees, cakes… honestly, thank you so much.

And to Bronnie, thank you for all the extra things you’ve done, especially with sets and props, keeping everyone together and encouraged.

Thank you also to Ray Carroll and David for your beautiful playing all year, for working so hard on the music and adding such a gorgeous sound to our already wonderful singing.

What we do together is so important. Joy, connection, being with other people — it’s so vital for our mental health. Singing together, where our hearts really do beat together, is such a gift.

I can’t wait to see you all next year — I truly hope you’re all coming back.
And remember, the more people we have, the bigger and better our sound, so tell your friends about this wonderful singing group.

They can come along for a free session next year — they’ll be our guests.

The Choir Club, your local community choir in Warrandyte, together with Oaklands Recording Studios Australia and The Now and Not Yet Café ☕💛, is proud to present our Christmas song and video fundraiser 🎶🎥

We hope you enjoy it — maybe even have a little laugh 😄 — and, if you’re able, consider donating a small amount, even just $2 💰, to support a wonderful cause.

All funds raised will support asylum seekers and local community members with housing 🏠, education 📚, job opportunities 💼, and more.

Hey beautiful community,

This Sunday our local choir, The Choir Club, together with lots of wonderful locals, is filming our big fundraiser for the year!

If you’ve ever seen European Vacation, you’ll know the Lindsay Buckingham song Holiday Road — we’ve created our own Christmas-themed version and we’re so excited to bring it to life.

We’re incredibly lucky to be filming at Oakland Studios Australia in Nunawading, a fantastic locally owned space. Our choir has been working hard for weeks — learning the song, creating sets and props, planning choreography, and rehearsing with our brilliant local band.

Keep an eye out for two of your local school principals, Nieta Manser and Daniel Weber, who are both amazing musicians and will be performing in the video!

Once everything’s edited, we’ll share the finished piece in the coming weeks. All donations will go through the Now and Not Yet Café to support people in need, especially local asylum seekers.

And if you would like to be in the video — local business owner, community member, local identity, anyone at all — we’d love to have you!
