⚓ Ahoy beaches! The newest seafaring addition to our emergency services family was delivered to Broome Volunteer Sea Rescue this week - Welcome Redbill III!

Supporting the local marine industry, Redbill III was purpose-built here in WA by KirbyMarine, designed in close consultation with our Broome vollies and fully funded by the Emergency Services Levy.

Having a major part to play in the design means the vessel is specifically tailored to the Group's local needs, including a 6 ton triple torsion axle trailer and a 400mm keel height to allow for shore launching at low tide 💪

The 10m NAIAD is in ship shape and ready to respond after completing sea trials, which put the twin 425hp Yamaha outboard motors through their paces. !

Vacancies exist for aluminium fabricators in the construction of commercial and recreational boats 5-16M. Previous marine experience is desirable but willing to train. Excellent working conditions in a modern, well-equipped environment in the Henderson Marine Precinct. Pay rate dependent on experience.

Vacancies exist for boat fit out personnel. We are looking for someone who is a good all-rounder in fitting equipment. Previous marine experience with medium sized commercial and recreational boats is preferred but willing to train if you have basic carpentry skills.
