New addition to the Troopy!

We’ve been running the Elite 100 V2 in the Troopy lately and honestly couldn’t be happier with it. It keeps the fridge cold, charges all of our camera gear and even lets us turn the Troopy into a beachfront coffee station!

We aren’t currently running a traditional 12v setup in the Troopy and rely solely on the Elite 100 V2 to keep everything powered. It charges off the alternator while driving and solar when parked up. Being able to control it from our phone has been super handy, and because it’s so portable, we can easily move it to the caravan too if we ever need backup power.

A good quality portable power station is an essential for us on the road, and the Elite 100 V2 has been such a good addition to our setup!

One of the best parts of living on the road and travelling Australia is how much time we get to spend outdoors.

Living this way has made us far more aware of nature and our surroundings. The weather dictates our plans constantly, from making sure we’ve got enough solar to keep everything running, setting up camp out of the wind, planning around the seasons and just constantly having to adapt as we go. Living outdoors definitely has its challenges at times too, especially when the weather isn’t on your side, but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🤎
