Well my friends, the time has come (as Lionel Richie said)... to raise the roof and have some fun...
but we wont be participating in any of that just yet.
As you know I've been hit with the dreaded lurgy and I'm still in recovery mode.
The enigmatic Peter Beaver has agreed to host this Sunday's Soulscope for us and we are truly grateful.
Tune in from 2-4pm for his dulcet tones and super selections.
Hoping my recovery take a turn for the better and I can get back to business next week.
Meantime please make Mr Beaver welcome and enjoy his two hours of good grooves on Northside Radio this Sunday between 2 & 4pm.

Sweet Pete (March) is looking after me wonderfully well.

You're not going to believe this... we can barely believe it ourselves, BUT we wont be presenting Soulscope this Sunday as both Peter and I have succumbed to illness which will prevent our attendance at Northside Radio. We're pleased that the exceptional Marvin Malcolm has agreed to host the show in our absence. Please make him welcome.
Hopefully we'll be back on 17th August.

Lots of people loved our all-blues show this week, celebrating International Blues Music Day (1st Sat of August, every year) and we thoroughly enjoyed bringing you the toons.

This Sunday, to celebrate International Blues Day (which is the 1st Sat in August each year - and this year it falls on Sat 2 Aug), we are presenting a special 2-hour show of blues from around the world. As we are not on air on Saturday, we reserve the right to play the blues on Sunday!! Join us from 2pm Sydney time, on Northside Radio FM99.3 and help us celebrate the blues.
