At 9.10 am we will be talking sport with Craig Warman. SFL grand final, world athletics, AFL grand final, NRL finals and much more. We will also be asking Craig about his Music Mayhem show and the award-winning Siren to Siren sports show.

Emcee Blaze will be in the studio again and we have some old favourites to chat to during the show. We would like to thank the staff at the Port Noarlunga Hotel for letting Emcee Blaze have time to do the Generation Gap show on Fridays.
At 9.10 we will be talking sport with Craig Warman the current President of the Southern Football League - South Australia and they will have their 'Big Dance' on the weekend. Good luck to all involved.

It looks like another big show, and it is always a big week in the Willunga area. The SFL has their Grand Finals on the weekend and of course the Willunga Farmers Market will be held at the Willunga High School on Saturday from 8am to Midday
There are upcoming events that will be of special interest to orchid lovers. The South Coast Orchid Club will be having their Spring Show on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th in the Marion Warradale Uniting Church Hall. We will be chatting to Phil Steer from the club next week.

In a first for Blaze and Trev they will be mounting an orchid display at the Port Noarlunga Hotel. Preparations are already under way to have orchids on display from Monday the 29th of September to Wednesday 1st October. Blaze has been the driver of this event, and it should be well worth a visit, a meal and a drink. Thanks to Mike for his help with this.

This week on Generation Gap only on Tribe FM91.1, Fridays from 9am to Midday.
Emcee Blaze and Trev are back from a very successful 9 days at the Royal Adelaide Show assisting in the Orchids and Aroid competition, display and sales area.
Christies Beach High school won two first place ribbons and one second place with the three plants they nominated for judging. Willunga High School continued an unbroken run of wins in the School Orchid Display. Champion school's orchid was won by Kildare College. Congratulations to all concerned.
The school students from the Orchids in Schools program were great in the Horticulture Stage with the stage manager judging the Willunga Primary School performance the best on stage. Check out the next WPS newsletter for more about what the girls did.

No Generation Gap radio show on Friday, August 29th or September 5th as Emcee Blaze and Trev head to the Royal Adelaide Show to do Horticulture Stage presentations for the Orchid Club of South Australia and the Orchids In Schools program. They will be assisting with Orchid information and sales as well as helping at the Festival of Flowers information booth.
