What did I do over the weekend? I had a quick look back on some of the beautiful messages, posts and comments from amazing horsewomen from all over our country. I cried a few little happy tears in doing so, and I thought I would share a small handful with you all.

Something you may not know, is that most weeks we like to give away pairs of our riding tights to women who have been struggling to find good quality, long lasting riding tights that makes them feel confident and comfortable both in and out of the saddle. Just a quick little update from us 🥰

They make great body rugs that you can attach another hood to or can use the spare fabric and hardware from the hood as spares for repairs. No damage at all, a couple small marks but they are hardly noticeable.

Display 5’9 Cotton Combo $50

Seconds stock: I have a variety of mesh and cotton rugs where the eye holes were placed too low (some may fit your horse), these were detachable hoods but are great body rugs and you will also receive the hood to use as spare fabric and hardware for future rug repairs or if you are handy on a sewing machine, you can cut the hood and convert to a combo rug quite easily. Sizes 5’6 - 6’6 (contact to confirm your requested size) I’ll be selling these seconds stock for $40

🌟 Deadass Podcast with Mr Oatis & Honey 🌟

A couple weeks ago, Heath saw a post on Instagram from the Deadass Podcast, who were looking for people to share their story. Heath asked me nervously, if he should contact them to share his story and journey going through cancer twice at a young age. Of course, I said “YES - You must!”, so he wrote to them and in no time at all, the ball was in motion and we were travelling up to Rockhampton for Heath to complete his very first podcast.

Yesterday, Heath met with Bryze to share his story and talk the road he has travelled over the last 10 years. From his young wife, Jasmine, passing away from bowel cancer at 28, to now going through cancer all over again with my breast cancer journey - he got to share it all on the podcast. The very first night I met Heath, he told me then how much he wanted to share his journey and help other people going through cancer with his unique and powerful story. We got a small taste of this a couple weeks ago when Heath jumped up on stage at the Murphys Creek Tavern for a breast cancer fundraiser to share his story. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place and we were amazed with how many people came up to both Heath and I to share how much his story meant to them and how it really helps people who are going through their own battle of cancer.

I dropped Heath off at the studio yesterday, he was a bit nervous but I knew as soon as he got in that door and met with Bryze, all his nerves would soon fall away and they did. They recorded close to 2 hours worth of conversation all in the one take which is amazing and guess what??? ….. you can all listen in tomorrow as it will be available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other podcast platforms by searching for Deadass Podcast and listening to the most recent episode with Heath sharing his story.
