🌴🌀 Invest 92L now has an 80% chance of tropical development over the next 7 days.

The system is showing some signs of organization, and environmental conditions are expected to remain favorable over the coming days. As a result, a tropical depression is likely to form.

📍 If it continues along its current track, the system could approach our area between Sunday and Monday. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding its development and track, so it is too early to determine what impacts it could have on Puerto Rico.

🚨🌎 BREAKING: STRONG EARTHQUAKE STRIKES COLOMBIA 🇨🇴

A powerful magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck Colombia this morning, Monday, August 10, at approximately 7:34 a.m. local time.

📍 Epicenter: San José del Palmar, Chocó
📏 Depth: Approximately 82 km
🌎 The earthquake was felt across several parts of Colombia, including Bogotá and other regions.

🌴🌀 TROPICAL UPDATE | 40% CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT

The potential for tropical development of a tropical wave has increased to 40% over the next 7 days. 🌊🌀

The system is expected to move off the coast of Africa this Tuesday. After that, it could gradually become better organized, with the possibility of a tropical depression developing during the second half of next week as it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic. 🌴🌊

👀 Residents across the Caribbean should continue to monitor the system closely as it develops and more information becomes available.
