Many people know me as the positive, happy and charming Nevin. The one who’s always smiling, in a good mood, and ready to light up the room with his energy.

But what most people never see is the journey that brought me here.

Over a decade ago, I was a lost, addicted, and depressed snorkeling tour guide in Aruba. I had no clear direction, no real sense of purpose or plan. Just a deep feeling that there had to be more to life.

So, I made a radical decision. I left everything behind and moved to Europe to pursue a study in International Business & Languages.

Moving from 30 degree tropical weather to The Netherland’s ice cold, dark and rainy months was a brutal awakening. I had to unlearn years of self-sabotage, break toxic cycles, and completely rebuild my identity to survive in this new environment.

I struggled, failed, and questioned myself countless times if I made the right choice to move.

But through it all, I discovered something powerful: happiness isn’t something you chase, it’s something you cultivate.

The joy people see in me today isn’t just natural optimism; it’s earned peace. It comes from deep self-work, from breaking through my darkest moments, and from choosing, every day, to live fully and unapologetically.

So if you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or like you’re running on empty, know that transformation is possible. Not overnight, not instantly, but through conscious, consistent action.

Just 8 years ago, I was living and working in Aruba as a snorkeling tour guide🤿🐠

On the outside, it looked like I had the perfect life, working in paradise, meeting people from all over the world, and loving the underwater adventure every day.

But deep down, I was struggling. I felt trapped, unable to fully express myself, my thoughts, or my feelings. This lack of communication turned into a spiral of depression, addiction, and self-doubt.

In 2016, I made the bold decision to change my life.

I left Aruba, moved to the Netherlands to pursue a Bachelor of International Business and Languages and faced a world of new challenges: new language, new culture, new responsibilities.

I hit rock bottom more than once, but in those moments, I found something powerful.

I discovered that the key to breaking free from my pain and self-doubt was communication.

The ability to express myself became my biggest strength.

Now, as a business owner myself, I see how important communication is for success.

Your business has a mission, a message, and a purpose that needs to be heard.
