THE CROSS WAS GOD’S PLAN
The Story of Cross Mountain

✝️ The Story of Cross Mountain in Medjugorje

Fr. Leon Pereira shares the history and spiritual significance of Cross Mountain (KriĹľevac), where local people built the enormous cross as an expression of their faith and devotion.

He reflects on messages attributed to Our Lady of Medjugorje, including that the cross was part of God’s plan, and that she has often been present there praying for the conversion of people.

Cross Mountain also carries a message for each of us. Everyone encounters crosses in life. Our Lady leads us toward Jesus, intercedes for us, and encourages us to remain close to Christ even when carrying our own crosses.

In Medjugorje, the Cross becomes not simply a sign of suffering, but a sign of faith, conversion, hope, and victory in Christ.

✝️ We rejoice in the Cross.

Fr. Leon Shows the Sacristy Where the Medjugorje Apparitions Took Place | 1981–1985.

Fr. Leon Pereira takes us inside the sacristy connected with the early years of the Medjugorje apparitions.

He explains that from 1981 to 1985, the young visionaries would come into this room and kneel during the reported apparitions of Our Lady. Fr. Leon describes how, during these moments, their surroundings seemed to fade from their awareness as their attention was focused on Our Lady.

He also explains how the apparitions were followed by the celebration of Holy Mass, connecting these extraordinary moments with the Eucharistic life of the parish.

A fascinating look inside a historic place associated with the early years of Medjugorje.

Why Righteousness Looks Foolish to the World? | Fr. Leon Pereira, Medjugorje
Full Homily👉:https://youtu.be/vDz23HaHdEk
