Christopher, today is your big day—and I couldn’t be more proud of you. As you sit your 11+ exam, know that you’ve already made me incredibly proud with the young man you’re becoming. From your leadership, to your kindness, to the way you carry yourself with purpose—you are truly something special.
Whatever happens today is good with my soul, because I know you’ll give it your all. That’s all I could ever ask for. You’re prepared, you’re focused, and you’re ready. Go shine, my Star Boy. You were made for this.
I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has played a part in Christopher’s journey so far—his teachers at Gordon Walters and St. Matthews, his lessons teacher who worked with him so patiently, and of course, his mother Kathy for her unwavering support, love and sacrifice. Pearson and Kaymar for all you continue to do. This day is a team win, and I’m grateful for every hand that helped lift him up.
