🎉🎉🎉The Department of Media and Communication just made waves with an all-IUB research team leading a British Council–commissioned policy review on Cinema as a Creative Industry in Bangladesh, unveiled on 10 December 2025 at the British Council, Dhaka🎉🎉🎉

Led by Dr. Imran Firdaus, with Dr. Mohiul Islam and Dilshad Hossain Dodul, and powered by our undergrad legend Hashmita, the study maps Bangladesh’s film landscape and charts a path for inclusive, sustainable growth.
