'সন্ধ্যা কাটে না অথচ বছর কেটে যায়'।

সময়ের সাথে আমরাও চলে যাচ্ছি । কোথায় যাচ্ছি জানি না । তবে বুঝতে পারছি কোথাও একটা যাচ্ছি। হয়তো সমুদ্রের দিকে– নয়তো নক্ষত্রের দিকে। নিয়ম করে আমাদের জ্বর, ঠান্ডা, অভিমান হচ্ছে। বিনা পারিশ্রমিকে দিনের পর দিন নিজের সাথে অভিনয় করে যাচ্ছি। নিরপরাধ দুটো চোখ ক্লান্ত হয়ে যাচ্ছে। তবুও আমরা যাচ্ছি । প্রিয় মানুষদের ফেলে, প্রিয় আকাশ ফেলে আমরা চলে যাচ্ছি। দূরে, বহুদূরে কোথাও!
