The mango is a common fruit of our country. It is a seasonal fruit, too. It is generally found in the summer season. Mangoes are grown commercially in a large orchard. There are many kinds of mangoes grown here. The popular kinds are the Langra, the Gopalbhog, the Fazli, and the Ashwini etc. Rajshahi and Chapai Nayabganj are famous for mango in our country. The mango tree is the national tree of Bangladesh.

আজ শুক্রবার। মুসলমানদের সাপ্তাহিক ঈদের দিন আজ। এ দিন জুমার নামাজ আদায় করা হয়। মুসলমানরা এ নামাজ আদায়ে মহান আল্লাহর ঘর মসজিদে সমবেত হন।

জুমার আজানের আগেই সব কর্মব্যস্ততা ত্যাগ করে জুমার নামাজের জন্য প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে মসজিদে গমন করা মুসলমানদের ঈমানি দায়িত্ব।

ধর্মীয় ভাবগাম্ভীর্যের দিক থেকে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্ব পূর্ণ এই দিনের ফরজের সঙ্গে কিছু সুন্নত রয়েছে। যেগুলো সব মুসলমানকে পালনের চেষ্টা করাটা উচিত।

অন্যান্য বছরের তুলনায় এ বছর দেশে বৃষ্টিপাত কম হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমন ধানের বাম্পার ফলন হয়েছে। ধানের বাজারদরও ভালো। কাঙ্ক্ষিত দরে উৎপাদিত ফসল বিক্রয় করতে পেরে কৃষকরাও বেজায় খুশি। যদিও তারা উৎপাদন ব্যয় বেড়েছে বলে দাবি করছেন।

Eid is a most famous festive in Islam.
