একটি সুস্থ ও সুন্দর সামাজিক ও পারিবারিক সম্পর্ক গড়ে তোলা এবং কোন ধরণের মানুষের সাথে সম্পর্ক গড়ে তোলা উচিত অথবা এড়িয়ে চলা উচিত (কিছু ইসলামিক নির্দেশনা):

১. ইমাম আল-হাদী (আ.) বলেছেন, ‘যে তোমাকে তার স্নেহ এবং তার ভালো মতামত উভয়ই দেয়, তার অধিকার আছে যে তুমি তাকে তোমার আনুগত্য করো।’ [বিহার আল-আনওয়ার, পৃ. ৩৬৫, নং ৪]

২. রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) বলেছেন, ‘এই পৃথিবীতে একজন দ্বিমুখী ব্যক্তি কিয়ামতের দিন আগুনের দুটি মুখ নিয়ে আসবে।’ [আল-তারগিব ওয়া আল-তারগিব, পৃ. ৩, পৃ. ৬০৩, নং ৩]

৩. ইমাম আল-সাদিক (আ.) বলেছেন, ‘মানুষের সাথে সহাবস্থান এবং পারস্পরিক ঘনিষ্ঠতা বজায় রাখার সঠিক উপায় হল .... একে অপরের দোষ-ত্রুটি সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করা।’ [তুহাফ আল-উক্বুল, নং। ৩৫৯]

৪. ইমাম আলী (আ.) বলেছেন, ‘ন্যায়পরায়ণতা অন্তরের মধ্যে সম্প্রীতি বয়ে আনে।’ [ঘুরর আল-হিকাম, নং ১১৩০]

৫. ইমাম আলী (আ.) বলেছেন, ‘মানুষের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ন্যায়পরায়ণ ব্যক্তি হলেন তিনি, যিনি তার উপর অত্যাচারকারীদের প্রতি ন্যায়পরায়ণ।’ [ঘুরর আল-হিকাম, নং ৩১৮৬]

৬. ইমাম আল-হাসান (আ.)-কে একবার সাহস সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হয়েছিল, যার উত্তরে তিনি বলেন, ‘কখন নিজের বিরোধীদের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াতে হবে এবং কখন সমালোচনার মুখে ধৈর্য ধরতে হবে তা জানা।’ [তুহাফ আল-উকৌল, নং ২২৬]

৭. ইমাম আল-সাদিক (আ.) বলেছেন, ‘মুমিন একজন মহান সাহায্যকারী এবং খুবই হালকা বোঝা। সে তার জীবিকা নির্বাহের জন্য সাশ্রয়ী হতে পারে এবং তাকে কখনো দুবার দংশন করা হয় না [অর্থাৎ কখনো একই ভুল পুনরায় করে না]।’ [প্রকাশিত পৃষ্ঠা ২৪১, নং। ৩৮]

৮. রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) বলেছেন, ‘আমাকে ছয়টি জিনিস দাও, আমি তোমাকে জান্নাত উপহার দেব। যখন তুমি কথা বলো, মিথ্যা বলো না; যখন তুমি প্রতিশ্রুতি দাও, তা ভঙ্গ করো না; যখন তোমার উপর আমানত রাখা হয়, তখন বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করো না; তোমার দৃষ্টি অবনত রাখো, তোমার গোপনাঙ্গের হেফাজত করো, তোমার হাত ও জিহ্বা সংযত রাখো।’ [আমালি আল-সাদুক, পৃ. ৮২, নং ২]

৯. রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) বলেছেন, ‘যে ব্যক্তি কোন জাতির তত্ত্বাবধানের দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করে এবং তাদের সাথে প্রতারণা করে, আল্লাহ তাকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ নিষিদ্ধ করেন।’ [তানবিহ আল-খাওয়াতির, পৃ. ২, পৃ. ২২৭]

১০. ইমাম আল-সাদিক (আঃ) বলেছেন, ‘আমার পিতা (আঃ) তিনটি [বাণী] দ্বারা আমার আদব-কায়দাকে পরিশুদ্ধ করেছেন। তিনি আমাকে বললেন: ‘হে পুত্র! যে ব্যক্তি একজন নীচ ব্যক্তির সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে সে দোষ এড়াতে পারে না, এবং যে ব্যক্তি তার কথা সংযত রাখে না সে অনুশোচনায় বাস করবে, এবং যে ব্যক্তি সন্দেহজনক স্থানে প্রবেশ করবে সে অভিযোগের শিকার হবে।' [তুহাফ আল-উকূল, নং 376]

11 নবী (সাঃ) বলেছেন, 'তুমি তোমার অর্থ দিয়ে সকল মানুষকে ঘিরে ফেলতে পারবে না, তাই তাদের সাথে হাসিখুশি মুখ এবং আনন্দের সাথে সাক্ষাত করো।' [উদ্ধৃতি নং 1]

12 নবী (সাঃ) বলেছেন, 'আমার উম্মতের সেরা মহিলারা হলেন যাদের মুখ সবচেয়ে সুন্দর এবং যৌতুক সবচেয়ে কম।' [বিহার আল-আনওয়ার, আয়াত 103, পৃষ্ঠা 237, নম্বর 25]

13 নবী (সাঃ) বলেছেন, 'অভিশপ্ত! অভিশপ্ত সেই ব্যক্তি যে তার উপর নির্ভরশীলদের বঞ্চিত করে। [বিহার আল-আনওয়ার, আয়াত 103, পৃষ্ঠা 13, নম্বর। 62]

14 রাসূল (সাঃ) বলেছেন, ‘তোমার জন্য এমন কারো সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করা ভালো নয় যে তোমার স্বার্থকে নিজের স্বার্থের মতো গুরুত্ব দেয় না।’ [আল-দুররা আল-বিহিরা, পৃ. 19]

15 ইমাম আলী (আঃ) বলেছেন, ‘একজন আন্তরিক বন্ধু হলো সেই ব্যক্তি যে তোমার ত্রুটি-বিচ্যুতি সম্পর্কে তোমাকে উপদেশ দেয়, তোমার অনুপস্থিতিতে তোমাকে রক্ষা করে এবং নিজের চেয়ে তোমাকে অগ্রাধিকার দেয়।’ [ঘুরার আল-হিকাম, নং 1904]
