🏔️ Babar Ali from Chittagong is the sixth Bangladeshi to summit Mount Everest.
🇧🇩 Babar Ali from Chattogram has received widespread acclaim both locally and on social media for his remarkable achievement of summiting Mount Everest. His organization, Vertical Dreamers, announced the news on Facebook, saying, "By the grace of Almighty and the blessings of millions of well-wishers, mother nature has placed Babar on her peak (Everest) for a while."
🗓️ Farhan Zaman, the chief coordinator of the expedition, confirmed Babar's ascent, stating, "Babar Ali reached the highest peak, Everest, at 8:30 AM local time in Nepal and 8:45 PM Bangladesh time on Sunday morning."
Babar left Bangladesh for Nepal on April 1 and underwent extensive preparation before beginning his Everest journey. After a week of trekking from Kathmandu to the base camp, he commenced his ascent.
With his successful climb of Everest, Babar now aims to conquer Mount Lhotse, the fourth highest mountain in the world. If successful, he will be the first Bangladeshi to summit Lhotse and the first to climb two 8,000-meter peaks in a single expedition, marking a new milestone in Bangladeshi mountaineering.
Bangladesh's history with Everest began with Musa Ibrahim's summit on May 23, 2010. He was followed by Mohammad Abdul Muhith on May 21, 2011, Nishat Majumder on May 19, 2012, Wasfia Nazrin on May 26, 2012, and Sajal Khaled on May 20, 2013. Nishat Majumder was the first Bangladeshi woman to summit Everest.
As Babar Ali descends from Everest, he is already focusing on his next goal, Mount Lhotse, and asks for continued prayers and support from his followers.📈
