JDU President G.M. Shaheen Lauds Hon’ble LG Manoj Sinha for Historic Justice to Terror Victim Families

Srinagar — 13th July Janata Dal United (JDU) State President Shri G.M. Shaheen today extended heartfelt appreciation to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, for his compassionate and bold decision to provide government jobs to the family members of terror victims in the Union Territory.

Shri Shaheen stated, “This is a historic and emotional moment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. For the first time since the abrogation of Article 370, true nationalists — who were ignored and even oppressed under previous regimes — have received justice. The past governments, which often sympathized with anti-national elements, denied these rights to the families of those who stood by the nation and were targeted by terrorists.”

He further remarked, “Earlier, many departments were dominated by those with anti-national mindsets, and nationalist voices were suppressed. Today, that dark chapter is being rewritten by the Hon’ble LG Manoj Sinha Ji, whose bold leadership and nationalist approach have brought justice to those long-forgotten.”

Shaheen emphasized that the gesture has deeply moved not only the affected families but also lakhs of patriotic citizens across the Valley. “The moral boost this has given to the nationalistic spirit in Jammu and Kashmir is immeasurable. History will forever remember Shri Manoj Sinha Ji for standing with the victims of terrorism and restoring their dignity.”

*JD(U) Ganderbal District President Abdul Majeed Ganaie Expresses Gratitude to DC Jatin Kishore for Swift Action on Irrigation Issues*

Ganderbal, June 25: Janata Dal United (JD-U) District President Ganderbal, Abdul Majeed Ganaie, extended his heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, for his prompt intervention in addressing the growing concerns of farmers in the area.

Speaking to the media, Abdul Majeed Ganaie stated that he recently met with the Deputy Commissioner to discuss multiple pressing issues, particularly the drought-like situation affecting paddy fields in Manigam, Arhama, and the adjoining areas served by the Baba Canal’s left irrigation pump stations.

He emphasized the severity of the problem, highlighting how a lack of irrigation was threatening the livelihoods of farmers in the area. "It was a matter of grave concern, and the farming community was under immense stress due to drying paddy fields," Ganaie said.

He further praised the Deputy Commissioner’s swift response, noting that the issue was resolved within a day of their meeting. "We are very thankful to DC Jatin Kishore for taking immediate action on our genuine demands and ensuring relief for the affected areas," he added.

The JD(U) leader reiterated his commitment to continue raising public issues and working closely with the administration to bring timely solutions to the people of Ganderbal.

JDU Holds Enthusiastic Workers' Meeting in Ajas Bandipora, Prepares for ULB and Panchayat Elections

Bandipora, Jan 13: The Janata Dal United (JDU) organised a vibrant workers' meeting at Ajas area of Bandipora district on Sunday, drawing dozens of attendees who participated with great enthusiasm.

While speaking to media on the sideline of the meeting JDU District President Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, declared the party's readiness for the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) and Panchayat elections. He expressed confidence in the party's ability to address public concerns and promised meaningful change.

Zahoor Bhat also criticized the National Conference (NC) government, accusing it of failing to deliver on its commitments to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
