There was a king who tried everything to kill one boy — because the boy believed in Allah, and the king couldn't stand it.

He threw the boy off a mountain — survived. Tried to drown him — survived. Every time, the boy came back and told the king exactly how to actually kill him. Not out of fear. Because he knew Allah alone controlled his life.

He told him, "Say Allah is my Lord, in front of everyone, then shoot me." The king did. The boy died saying it — but every single person who witnessed it believed on the spot.

His death did more than his life ever could.

Among the seven people who'll get Allah's shade — there's someone who does something most of us never do alone.

A person who remembers Allah in complete privacy — no one around, no camera, no audience — and their eyes fill with tears. Not performing. Not posting about it. Just them and Allah, alone.

That's a level most of us haven't even attempted.

A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, "What's the quickest way to lose everything Allah gave me?" The answer was one word.

Ingratitude. The Prophet ﷺ said blessings you don't thank Allah for are blessings you're setting yourself up to lose.

Gratitude isn't just polite. It's protection.

Salman spent years — literally years — traveling from teacher to teacher, country to country, just searching for the truth. No social media. No internet. Just walking.

Every teacher he found, he'd stay with until they died, then ask, "Who should I go to next?" Each one pointed him further away, closer to the truth, until the last one told him about a prophet coming, and gave him three signs to recognize him.

He was even sold into slavery along the way. Still didn't give up.

Years later, he finally met the Prophet ﷺ, checked every single sign, and confirmed it was him.

Sometimes the truth takes years to find. That doesn't mean stop looking.

Kaab was a good companion. But one time, he skipped an important battle out of pure laziness — no real excuse. Just didn't go.

When the Prophet ﷺ came back, Kaab didn't lie or make excuses like others did. He just said, "I had no excuse. I was simply too comfortable at home." So the Prophet ﷺ ordered everyone to stop talking to him. Completely. For 40 days.

Even his own wife had to leave. He said those 40 days felt like the whole earth had shrunk on him.

Then one morning, he heard someone shouting his name — his repentance had been accepted.

Sometimes honesty costs you everything, until it gives you everything back.

Right before the Battle of Badr, the Prophet ﷺ said something that made a young man drop the dates he was eating.

He said, "Whoever is killed today, fighting sincerely, will enter Jannah." Umair was sitting there, eating dates before the battle. He looked at the dates in his hand and said, "Is it really that close?" Then he asked, "Long life, is that all that's stopping me?"

He threw away the rest of the dates, said "that's a long time to wait if I just sit here eating," picked up his sword, and ran straight into battle.

He didn't finish his snack for Jannah. What's holding you back from yours?

There was a woman — or in some narrations, a man — who used to sweep the mosque every single day. No one knew much about her. She just showed up and cleaned, quietly.

One day, the Prophet ﷺ noticed she wasn't there. He asked about her. The companions said, "She died, and we buried her." They hadn't even told him.

He asked, "Why didn't you inform me?" They said they didn't want to trouble him, thought she wasn't important enough to bother him with.

He said, "Show me her grave." He walked there personally and prayed the funeral prayer over her, alone, at her grave. A woman nobody thought mattered — the Prophet ﷺ made sure she wasn't forgotten.

The Prophet ﷺ described seven types of people who'll get shade on a day when there's no shade except Allah's. One of them might surprise you.

A man who gives charity so secretly, his left hand doesn't even know what his right hand gave. Not a public post. Not a receipt. Not even his own family knowing.

On the Day of Judgment, when everyone's exposed, that person gets covered — because they never needed anyone to see them being good.

That's a level most of us haven't even tried to reach.
